READ Barcelona 2026 · Participant guide

What will we do during the three days of the convention?

From 16 to 18 September, mornings will combine professional B2B meetings, working assemblies and themed gatherings. In the afternoons, READ will open up to the city with public conversations and debates. Each participant will be able to build their schedule flexibly.

09:00–16:00

B2B meetings

One-to-one meetings between publishers, magazines, agencies, institutions and cultural projects. La Capella del MACBA will remain open throughout this time.

10:30–12:00

Publishing assemblies

Collective working sessions in small groups, with shared questions and concrete cases, aimed at generating proposals and collaborations.

15:00–16:00

Professional gatherings

Themed conversations connecting organisations from different countries that work on common challenges and interests.

How to combine the activities: B2B meetings run on an open schedule between 09:00 and 16:00. You can arrange them around the assemblies and professional gatherings. We recommend contacting organisations in the shared directory and scheduling your meetings in advance.

How to organise B2B meetings

Use the shared directory to contact organisations directly. We will communicate the table number assigned to each publisher, magazine or institution closer to the event. Every table will be numbered and clearly marked.

How the assemblies will work

Each session will begin with a brief introduction and continue in small groups. READ will collect the results and share them with participating organisations so the work can continue.

Professional registration

You will receive a specific link to register for each assembly and professional gathering. Advance registration will allow us to plan group sizes and prepare the sessions more effectively.
